Cancellation & Refund Policy

General Terms & Condition:

  • All services including the Hotel and Room category are subject to availability at the time of booking.
  • Guest Photo identity like Aadhar Card/ passport must be shared at time of booking and at hotels, Passports in case of international tours.
  • Domestic Confirmation of booking is done against payments. 50% at time of booking and balance 15 Days prior to arrival. Until specified in your quote
  • Check –in time is 1500 hrs. and Check –out time is 11 am. Early check-in or late check- out fees must be settled directly with the hotel by the guest.
  • Child Policy varies from property to property,
  • Due to bad weather itinerary may get changed or curtailed, in case of road blocks any expenses rising such as stay, food and vehicles hiring days, the difference will have to be borne by guest. That also means If the tour itinerary requires modification or extension due to unforeseen circumstances such as riots, floods, accidents, or other natural or man-made events including Road Blockages and Travel Disruptions, any additional expenses will be borne by the guests.
  • No refund is provided for any missed or partially used or unused service. Any modification has to done and agreed prior to booking and confirmed in written.
  • Delays due to late starting of the day / tour schedule may lead to all sightseeing not getting covered.
  • Cancelation: 45-30 days: 25%, 29-15 Days: 50%, 14-7 Days: 75%, 7 day before 100%
  • A/C will not be used in hills while climbing.
  • You are requested to allow driver to have meal & bio breaks.
  • It’s recommended to offer on duty meal and tip to driver, it’s only a recommendation.
  • After 9 pm late night charges apply which are additional of Rs. 500/-
  • Domestic tour taxi / vehicle Local Sightseeing is for 8hrs 80 Kms or as per mentioned in itinerary.
  • International tour taxi / vehicle is offered as per itinerary and may be point to point.
  • Any special area tours like Rohtang need prior permissions and the same is subject to approval and additional charges, any place where union restriction are applicable like in Kashmir, Union cabs have to be hired directly as per their norms
  • Pre- medical condition should be discussed and informed to us beforehand.
  • Food- Veg/ Non-Veg/Jain Food to be specified beforehand and subject to availability at the hotel or stay facility. Any food allergies to be specified 48-hour prior of activity/ meal.
  • Any claims arising from any hotel, vendors, food outlets need to be settled directly, we are facilitating your experience only. That also included any deviations, additions, unused services etc.
  • In case of any adventure activities, you agree to our labiality waiver conditions & policies.
  • You also agree to our equipment usage policy like tents, sleeping bags, activity equipment, ATV etc.
  • Domestic or Overseas Medical travel Insurance is not included by default; you may ask us to do it as an additional service and do mention if you have any pre-existing medical conditions. Insurance when booked is included for travellers upto the age of 60 yrs, senior citizens will have a higher premium. Lodging and getting claims approved and settled with the insurance company has to be done by passengers directly.
  • Airline & Hotels quoted are subject to availability until blocked with payment. Rates may differ at time of booking,
  • Terms & Conditions apply as per our policies.
  • Any dispute is subject to courts of Palampur only.

International Forex & VISA:

  • ROE taken is Rs. 1.5 above RBI – IBR rate, the same is applicable as per date of receiving payment.
  • Forex is remitted under LRS for Individuals hence pan card of travellers Is a must.
  • All payments are subject to TCS on amount pre-GST hence ensure your PAN details are accurate
  • As a basic thumb rule ensure your passport id valid for more than 6 months from your intended date of return.
  • Granting of visa is decision of the country that we intent to enter and the decision of the immigration will be final and conclusive and no claim can be made to challenge the same. But a reappeal with relevant charges can be attempted.

  • At time of bookings: 100% towards INR amount Airline, Visa, Insurance. 75% Towards Land
  • Arrangements at time of booking. Balance 25 working Day before the travel.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our focus is towards complete customer satisfaction, We plan everything for you well in advance, so that your activities & trip are hassle-free and as smooth as possible. This means that Guide fees, permissions & permits as required, accommodation expenses are all paid in advance. Any cancellation will mean that some of the advances paid are non-refundable . Therefore, it is only fair to pass on the accrued costs to you.

Our cancellation policy applicable for day activities or individual day tour is:-

  • Cancelled 25 days or before: Free of charge
  • Cancelled between 24 -15 days: 25% of tariff.
  • Cancelled within 14-2 Days hours of tour: 50% of tariff,
  • Cancelled within 48 hours of tour: no refunds

100% cancelation applicable for insurance, visa assistance or other consultancy services.

  • If for some reason you wish to cancel your booking you must inform in written well in advance, an email intimation needs to be sent on info@hiamalayanadrenaline.com with a cc to ops@ghas.in.

 

Refund Policy

In case of an agreed refund, If paid by credit card, refunds will be issued to the original credit card provided at the time of purchase and in case of payment gateway name payments refund will be made to the same account. Within 30 working days.

**Any dispute that may arise is only subject to courts of Palampur, Himachal Pradesh.

FOR ALL OUR TRIPS:

  1. All tours & trips, and require flexibility. The day by day itinerary as shown in the website or in any of our promotional materials are taken as a guideline only. Local conditions may require a slight change – this will only be taken if absolutely necessary.
  2. Once you have chosen the trip, we send you our pro forma invoice along with bank details and once you have paid the deposit, it is understood that there will be a contract between you and Great Himalayan Adventure Studio Pvt. Ltd. for that particular trip.
  3. To secure your booking, a non refundable deposit of minimum 50% of the total trip cost is required. Balance amount should be sent to us at least one month before your trip begins. If you book within a month before the trip start date, the whole amount for the trip will be required immediately.
  4. Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card (2.5% surcharge applies for credit card payments). We accept Visa and Mastercard only. If you wish to make a cash payment, please understand that we will not be able to accept any amount greater than ₹ 20,000/- on a single invoice.
  5. If you wish to make payment by bank transfer, we will send you our bank details at the time of booking. Please note that applicable bank charges will need to be paid by you if any.
  6. Great Himalayan Adventure Studio Pvt. Ltd. will not be held responsible for denying clients from a trip if full payment has not been made before the due date.
  7. It is your responsibility to obtain any visa required for international or inbound travel to undertake any trip booked with Great Himalayan Adventure Studio Pvt. Ltd.
  8. Your health, and your ability to undergo the trip is your responsibility. We ask you to fill up a medical health form before a rigorous trek or expedition, but that is only for the information for our staff on the trek, so they are aware of issues, if any. You undertake the responsibility to be physically and mentally fit to travel and undertake an activity..
  9. A Liability Waiver / Indemnity form (in the case of undertaking an adventure trip) will need to be signed by you and you accept that you may be exposed to certain inherent dangers in any such adventure trip. Failure to sign the Liability Waiver form will preclude you from joining certain adventure trips. If you are below 18 years of age, your parent or guardian’s signature will be required.
  10. No refund will be entertained for those who leave the trip due to sickness, injury or any other reason.
  11. No refund will be given for any unused service.
  12. If you leave the main party mid-way, you will need to pay for your own meals and accommodation and any other possible charges that may apply.

If we decides to cancel a trip because of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, earthquake, strike, flood, riots, spread diseases etc, we will try our best to refund the full trip cost that has been paid to us. Often, we would have paid advances to other parties, and until we receive those advances back, it may be difficult to refund you the whole amount.

We will not be held responsible for any other trip related expenses such as booking of international flights, visa, insurance, vaccinations unless specifically stated otherwise. We are only liable for payments made to us.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

We recommend that you have comprehensive travel insurance which includes cover for medical treatment as well as evacuation in case of illness or other unforeseen situations. We can assist you get one that covers the trip well.

You agree to provide us with your insurance details prior to commencement of the trip. You understand that not having this insurance, or failing to provide us with the details, may delay any necessary assistance and repatriation, and that Great Himalayan Adventure Studio Pvt. Ltd. shall not be held liable for the same.

AUTHORITY ON TOUR:

While travelling with us you agree to accept the authority of the tour leader at all times. You are aware that travel within a group may involve compromise to accommodate the diverse desires and physical abilities of group members. You understand that we reserves the right to decline, accept, or retain any person as a member of the group at any time.

We will not accept responsibility or liability for any traveller who contravenes any law or regulation of any country visited.

THIRD PARTY:

You acknowledge that our contracts with a network of companies, government agencies and individuals to assist in the running of its tours. To the best of our knowledge, these third parties are qualified to perform the duties they are contracted to perform. However we will not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay or irregularity that may occur due to the behavior of these third parties.

Amendments’ in hotel, flights/ trains and other bookings attract charges, the same are levied to us and we charge the same to you over and above our service charge of Rs. 500/-.

With booking the tour, you agree to the above.
